Human Hair Crochet
-
Q: Does the hair come pre-looped or with strings?
-
A: No. Our hair is not pre-looped and contains no strings. Each bundle is folded at the midpoint and tied with a visible center band.
-
Q: What makes your crochet hair different?
-
A: Our patented center-tie design ensures a secure hold without knots, rings, or strings. It blends seamlessly, flexes at the root, and supports both even and offset folds.
-
Q: How is it different from micro rings or string-loop hair?
-
A: Our hair doesn’t rely on metal rings, glue, or pre-tied loops that can cause tangling or buildup. Our patent-pending center band is secure, breathable, and far more flexible at the roots.
-
Q: Is your hair reusable?
-
A: While it can be reused, we recommend removal by professionals or single use for diyers for best results. Unlike looped hair, ours removes cleanly without tangling or matting during the removal process.
-
Q: Is this real human hair or a blend?
-
A: We offer 100% real human hair, ethically sourced and crafted for maximum longevity. No synthetic blends are used unless stated otherwise.
-
Q: What textures are available?
-
A: Our Human Hair Crochet bundles come in a variety of textures—ranging from kinky curly to loose wave, natural straight, and everything in between. Each pattern is designed to match common hair types for a seamless blend.
-
Q: Can I color or bleach this hair?
-
A: Yes, our human hair bundles can be dyed or bleached just like natural hair. However, we recommend having this done by a professional for best results and to preserve the integrity of the curl pattern.
-
Q: Do you offer customization for your bundles?
-
A: At this time, all Sacred Confidence™ bundles are pre-prepared using our exclusive center-tie method and signature patterns. While we do not offer full customization per order, you can choose from various lengths, textures, and fold types (even or offset) to fit your desired look. If you're a salon or wholesale buyer with specific volume or pattern needs, reach out—we may offer tailored solutions for bulk orders.
-
Q: How many bundles do I need for a full install?
-
A: Most clients need 3 bundles for full coverage. For styles requiring extra volume or length, 4 bundles are recommended.
-
Q: Will it work with sensitive scalps?
-
A: Yes! Our technique is tension-controlled, and the center-tie design minimizes scalp strain, making it ideal for sensitive or thinning areas.
-
Q: Can I create parts or switch styles with this hair?
-
A: Absolutely. Thanks to the root flexibility of our patented design, you can switch between side parts, middle parts, or ponytails without leave-out or bulky knots showing.
-
Q: Is it suitable for protective styles?
-
A: Yes. Our Human Hair Crochet is designed to protect your natural hair while still giving you a luxurious, natural look. The breathable design allows your scalp to be cleansed and moisturized.
-
Q: What lengths are available?
-
A: We offer lengths from 10" to 26" (even or offset folded). You can customize based on how much coverage or stretch you want from each bundle.
Even Fold vs Offset Fold
-
Q: What is an even fold installation?
-
A: Even fold means the hair is folded exactly at the midpoint, so both ends are equal in length. It’s great for balanced volume and symmetry.
-
Q: What is offset folding and how does it add length?
-
A: Offset folding places the tie closer to one end, leaving one side longer. This gives a fuller look with extended length from the same bundle.
-
Q: When should I use even fold vs offset fold?
-
A: Use even fold when you want balanced ends and maximum volume throughout. Offset fold is ideal for adding visual length, layering, natural volume or achieving a natural taper without cutting the hair.
-
Q: Will offset fold make the install look uneven?
-
A: Not at all! Offset fold is strategically designed to give a natural layered look. It actually mimics how real hair grows—shorter at the top, longer at the bottom.
-
Q: Can I combine both methods in one install?
-
A: Yes! Many stylists use even fold at the crown for fullness and offset fold on the lower rows for added length. It creates a beautiful, dimensional style.
-
Q: Do I need extra hair if I use offset fold?
-
A: No. Offset fold allows you to stretch one bundle further. In many cases, it gives you more styling versatility without needing to purchase additional hair.
-
Q: Does offset fold affect how the hair moves?
-
A: Offset folding actually enhances movement and layering, especially with curls or waves. It gives a feathered, flowy finish.
-
Q: Will the offset side shed more since it’s longer?
-
A: As with all human hair extensions, there will be short hairs in bundles. Both even and offset folds are securely knotted for minimal shedding—just handle with care during removal. However, remaning short hairs can be used. Find out how by taking a course!
-
Q: Which fold is better for high ponytails or updos?
-
A: Even fold is typically better for updos, as it provides balanced weight. Offset fold can be used on the lower rows for length without bulk.
Patent & Trademark
-
Q: What does your patent cover?
-
A: Our patent (US11641900B2) covers the exclusive method of installing hair by securing unwefted strands at their midpoint without adhesives, wefts, or attachments. It includes even and offset folding with adjustable knot techniques for all hair type (human, blend, or synthetic)
-
Q: Is your patent for the hair or the technique?
-
A: It covers both. The patent protects the installation method and the structural use of unwefted extensions folded at the midpoint—whether using even or offset folds. That includes how the hair behaves once installed.
-
Q: Is Human Hair Crochet trademarked?
-
A: Yes, 'Human Hair Crochet' is a registered trademark, protecting the name and service for exclusive use in hair extensions and education.
-
Q: Can other brands legally sell this method?
-
A: No. Our patented installation method and trademarked brand are protected. Any unauthorized use is considered infringement.
-
Q: What makes your patent different from other crochet methods?
-
A: Most crochet methods rely on pre-looped hair, glue, rings, or wefts. Our patent protects a unique process of securing loose, unwefted hair using a center-fold and knot—allowing true attachment-free installs with full flexibility and coverage.
-
Q: Can I teach this method if I take your course?
-
A: No. While you can become certified to perform the technique, teaching it requires a separate licensing agreement. Only the creator may train stylists or distribute educational content unless otherwise approved in writing.
-
Q: What happens if someone copies the method?
-
A: Any person or brand caught copying or profiting from the patented method without permission is at risk of legal action for patent and trademark infringement.
-
Q: How does your trademark protect the name Human Hair Crochet?
-
A: The trademark gives us exclusive rights to use the term “Human Hair Crochet” for commercial purposes—such as product labeling, advertising, packaging, and educational services. This helps eliminate confusion and misuse in the industry.
-
Q: Can I say I do Human Hair Crochet if I use different hair or methods?
-
A: Only if you are using our certified bundles or methods in accordance with our brand guidelines. Using the term improperly misleads customers and violates trademark law.
-
Q: How do I report someone misusing your trademark or method?
-
A: Please contact us at admin@croshaninc.com with screenshots, links, or receipts if you believe someone is copying or falsely advertising our products or technique.
